Meet Dr. Farthing
Dr. Farthing is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. He graduated with honors from Indiana University School of Dentistry, where he was recognized by the American College of Stomatologic Surgeons and Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. While at Indiana, he was also inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon honorary fraternity.
Dr. Farthing received both his post doctoral certificate in periodontics and Master of Science in Periodontics from Baylor College of Dentistry. His master’s research focused on the biochemistry of periodontal regeneration. He has maintained an interest in regeneration as he pursued the clinical practice of periodontics and dental implants in Denver, Colorado.
Dr. Farthing is an active member of the American Academy of Periodontology, the American Dental Association, the Colorado Dental Association, and Metropolitian Denver Dental Society. He also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. He is a past president of the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists.
His research interests include microsurgical procedures in the area of aesthetic and regenerative periodontics and the surgical placement of dental implants. He has lectured and published on these subjects.
